Manager
I began working in Early Years as a childminder when my children were young. I worked in another local playgroup before joining Stepping Stones. I joined the committee and was then employed as bank staff before joining full time. I was promoted to Deputy Manager, a position which I really enjoyed and I gained a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies.  I have been Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead since 2020. I enjoy working in the local community and I strongly believe in the importance of play and of children having secure attachments and a nurturing environment during their early years and education.

Deputy Manager
I started working at Stepping Stones after taking my 'A' levels and have now worked here for 7 years. I have since gained Level 3 Early Years Educator and L3 SENCO qualifications. I would like to continue studying as a L5 Lead Practitioner. I am enthusiastic and passionate about the importance of Early Years; my particular interests are children's well-being and supporting children with their communication and social development. I also love story-telling and creative arts.

Early Years Educator
I hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. Before joining Stepping Stones in 2020, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in Reception; prior to this I worked as a 1:1 practitioner supporting children with SEN. I am passionate about Equal Opportunities and am Inclusion Champion for the setting.  I have two sons in college and a daughter in secondary school.

Early Years Assistant
I really enjoy working in Early Years and joined Stepping Stones in 2024; I am currently studying for a L3 Early Years Educator qualification. I have completed training in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene, along with a number of other relevant courses. I have a grandson who attends Dursley Primary.
Our committee
Stepping Stones is a charitable parent-led group. We have an elected Committee, who work in conjunction with the staff.
